1962 |
||||||||
The UK Entries in the Charts continued to be dire but The Beatles entered the Charts for the first time.
1962 was very similar to 1960 and 1961 for BJS.
(that is spells with a variety of Bands (e.g. Russ Sainty & The Nu-Notes and Nero & The Gladiators) and some Session work) Cliff Richard and The Shadows dominated the UK Pop Scene. (In April Brian Locking replaced Jet Harris in the Shadows) (Jet's wife, Carol Costa, seduced Cliff Richard) (Carol was coincidentially BJS's near neighbour) BJS played on the Seminal Album "R'n'B At The Marquee". (Mick, Keith, Brian, Bill and Charlie were regulars at the Ealing Club) In this year BJS played on 3 Number One Records. For more details please view BJS's Wikipedia page.
