| Enigma |

BJS claimed to have played on every Donovan Hit.

He certainly played on the re-recorded "Catch The Wind" and "Colours".

Nobody is denying he played on "Superlungs (My Supergirl)" or "Barabajagal (Love Is Hot)".
(both on the 1968 album "Barabajagal")

He almost certainly played on some of Donovan's early material.

But questions must be asked about his involvement on the well documented hit singles
"Sunshine Superman", "Mellow Yellow", "Hurdy Gurdy Man", "There Is A Mountain", "Jennifer Jupiter" and "Atlantis".

Unfortunately it could remain an Enigma because producer Mickey Most
(who was not helpful to BJS when BJS tried to claim royalties)
is no longer with us and Donovan's memory is not to be trusted
(e.g. according to Donovan, Led Zeppelin backed him on "Hurdy Gurdy Man").

Finally Donovan had his own Sitar Player, American Shaun Phillips, and so BJS didn't contribute any Sitar.

Who might know ?
