Agnes Macgregor was born on 3 November 1908 in Caterham

John Agnes married John (Jack) Leonard Langley on 24 December 1932 in Caterham
He was living at 54, Grange Road, Ramsgate at the time of the marriage
He was born on 27 January 1906 in North Leyton, West Ham

They had two children - Derek John & Robert Leonard

Derek was born in 1935 in Reigate and he currently lives in Swindon
Robert was born in 1939 ad he currently lives in Baldock

They lived at 52, Heath Road, Caterham
Agnes worked in St Lawrence Asylum
Her husband, John (Jack) was a guardsman (2nd Battalion Scots Guards)
He was stationed next to the asylum

She and her two sons were bombed out of Campbell Road, Caterham early in WW2
They went to Exeter to join Muriel

They subsequently moved to Old Coulsdon, near Caterham, in 1941

John (Jack) died there in 1951



Agnes, a widow, married Peter George Bristow on 4 October 1958 in Croydon
They didn't have any children
They both worked for a building firm
Peter was born on 2 March 1920 in Sydenham
He died on 31 March 1975 in Ashford, Kent leaving 26,137 pounds



Agnes died on 20 August 1996 (aged 87) in Swindon
(she had been living in Fore Street, Topsham, Devon)
