The Newbeats were a Band based in Louisiana. BJS claimed he was on their Hit Singles ("Bread And Butter" - recorded in 1964) ("Run Baby Run" - recorded in 1965) (not a hit in the UK in 1965 but it was hit in the UK in 1971) (both these songs were recorded in America) So the Enigma is - What part, if any, did BJS play ? The Band did make an appearance on Top Of The Pops. |
