Dad in Guernsey

	Dad moved to Guernsey in the 1950s or 1960 He married widow Ella Annie Jarvis (formerly Mitchell) on 2 December 1960 They lived in 3 properties :- Meadow Villa Les Heches St Pierre du Bois (they were living there in 1961) "A Corner Store" Les Dunes Vazon, Catel (they were living there in 1964) "Franc Fief" (see photographs) Franc Fief Lane St Sampson (it was bought for £6,000 in 30 April 1968)
They gave birth to a son Paul who was born in 1961
Dad died on 16 October 1970 aged 65 in the "Parish of St Sampson" (carcinoma of the left lung)

Ella

Ella was born on 10 January 1930 (her mother's name was Corne) In 1950 Ella married Edwin Jarvis in Lambeth (their daughter was born in 1951) According to the 1956/57 Electoral Lists they were living at :- 24 Ivyday Grove Streatham (Ella's father, Sydney George, died there on 31 July 1955 leaving £1,305) Later they lived in Basingstoke On 12 July 1957 Ella, Edwin and their young daughter went to Canada but Edwin died in a car accident Ella returned to Liverpool with her daughter on 12 January 1959 She was pregnant with a son After marrying Dad, Ella married David She died in a Peterborough hospital in 2006 aged 76
